I really enjoyed this book overall. I love the writing, and the actual story for the most part. Enjoyed the unusual yet realistic names for the characters. I am tired of the same names, and completely WAY out there names.
Diesel is your typical male sex pig. He is the singer of a rock band, and even when not performing hes performing. There does not seem to really be much in between or down time for him. From multiples, to randoms, none get more than 3 "sessions" so to speak. And when he sees her this includes his friend and band mates little sister.
Lourdes is about as uninterested in men as you can be and stay straight. She has trauma in her past (of course, I know). Until she sees Diesel the sex god. Now here is where some of my issue plays in. One of the first things she sees is the band back stage with some groupies. Including Diesel, with a girl on her knees. She is disgusted. But that doesnt stop her body from responding when he looks at her. Not too bad right. Here was the kicker for me, later when the chance to "be" with Sascha, Lourdes' best friends cousin, Diesel cant refuse. Even knowing how obviously much Lourdes cant stand her. And flaunts it in her face. Yet she still looks past that to get involved. Just over and over diesel in my opinion goes out of his way to prove that men just cant control themselves when sex or easy women are involved. And Lourdes should have been running away from that. Instead she of course gets involved. Now I will not post spoilers about the ending, but can say aside from the aforementioned, I loved the story.
